IRS Relief for Georgia

Victims of the severe storms and tornadoes in January receive some relief from the IRS. Following the disaster declaration issued by FEMA, individuals that reside or have a business in Butts, Crisp, Henry, Jasper, Meriwether, Newton, Pike, Spalding, and Troup counties are eligible for a later filing deadline. Most individual income tax returns and various business returns with due dates of March 15 and April 18 have until May 15 to file these returns.
